Make membership easier to choose.
Show the business value, explain the levels and connect interested firms to the joining process.
A proposal by The Design Factory
The relationships.THE DESIGN FACTORY × RBCA
Help contractors see why they should join. Put member businesses in view. Give your team a website that works as hard as they do.
01THE OPPORTUNITY
The website should make the next step just as clear.
RBCA serves contractors, industry partners, employers, trainees and community supporters. Each arrives with a different question. A strong website answers that question quickly and connects them to the right person, program or action.
Our recommendation: launch the public experience with confidence, make member companies easier to discover, then add private member tools where they provide practical value.
Show the business value, explain the levels and connect interested firms to the joining process.
Give owners and primes a useful way to discover participating companies through an approved business directory.
Organize events, resources and member information so routine updates do not depend on redesigning a page.
These are proposed improvements based on RBCA’s public services and the working concept. We will confirm priorities with your team before implementation. We are not assuming lost revenue or promising a particular increase in membership.
02SEE THE WORK BEFORE YOU DECIDE
We have already developed a working visual foundation around RBCA’s identity and real photography. Follow a visitor’s journey and see the direction for yourself.

A VISITOR’S NEXT STEP
Explain the value, compare the levels and make the next step easy to find.
What you can inspect now: public page layouts, content, photography, navigation and existing destination links. Production CMS configuration, a new directory, member authentication and reporting are proposed delivery work, not completed features of this concept.
03ONE CONNECTED STORY. DISTINCT PATHWAYS.
Your website needs to connect the work without making every visitor navigate the entire organization to find what they need.
Keep association membership, event purchases and CDC contributions clearly labeled. Preserve approved payment and application destinations. A full rebuild of rbcacdc.org, its application system or case-management records is not included in these website packages.
We reviewed the current website concept, RBCA’s public organization and activity updates, RBCA’s event channel, and RBCA CDC’s program, application and partnership information. Public information reviewed September 2026. Program details, record counts and workflow ownership will be confirmed at kickoff.
04THE DESIGN FACTORY / RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Our work spans brands, member organizations and community institutions. For RBCA, the most important connection is experience making complex organizations easier to understand and easier to operate.

THE DESIGNAri Raphiel is your project lead and primary contact for design, implementation and handoff. You get a clearly defined scope, consolidated review points and an accountable delivery relationship.

We reuse the visual foundation already developed, then put the remaining effort into the content, editing tools, integrations and launch details your team actually needs.
Agree on the package, retained pages, approved photography, member data and existing systems. Identify one consolidated feedback lead.
Your checkpoint: scope and content inventory.Build the approved pages with tools your staff can update. Add the business directory or member area when included in your package.
Your checkpoint: design and working workflow review.Check mobile layouts, keyboard navigation, forms, links and the included member workflows. Rehearse real staff updates.
Your checkpoint: acceptance checklist and training.Back up the existing site, map included URLs, complete an approved domain cutover and resolve launch defects during the support window.
Your checkpoint: live site, access and handoff.Your team will be able to update everyday content, publish news and keep information current. Included business-directory and member tools will be configured around the agreed tasks. Your existing membership payments and CDC services remain in place or clearly connected.
We will confirm how this fits your current systems before work begins. The proposal uses established publishing tools, including WordPress where appropriate, so routine updates remain manageable. Any alternative that changes the scope or cost comes to you for approval first.
06THE INVESTMENT / CHOOSE WHAT RBCA NEEDS NEXT
Start with the outcome you want. Each option builds on the one before it, so the difference is easy to see.

The concept’s design work is already underway. These fees cover a defined production scope using supplied content, established software and one consolidated review process. Two design review rounds are included in every package.
Domain renewal, hosting, premium extensions, email delivery and payment-processing charges are separate. We will document the actual providers and recurring fees for your approval before purchase. No paid subscription is started without approval.
50% at kickoff, 30% after the working implementation is approved, and 20% at launch acceptance. Dates begin after the agreement, initial payment, access and required content are received. Final terms belong in the written agreement.
Custom CRM or accounting integration, automated billing synchronization, procurement scraping, mobile apps, bulk historical-document remediation, multilingual translation, new photography, a separate CDC website rebuild, and workforce case management. Additional content or functionality requires written scope and pricing approval. Membership approvals and directory accuracy remain with RBCA.
Yes. Foundation establishes the public website, and Growth adds directory and publishing capabilities. A later portal can build on that work. We will quote any later phase based on the existing setup and approved requirements rather than promise an automatic upgrade price.
Agree a baseline and track membership-application clicks, event-registration clicks, partnership inquiries and CDC referrals. Growth and Connected add directory engagement and a reporting view. Outbound clicks are not counted as completed registrations or payments unless the receiving system supports verified conversion measurement.
07OWNERSHIP, CONTINUITY & SUPPORT
A good handoff lets your staff keep the site useful and gives you control over what comes next.
RBCA controls its domain, hosting and approved software accounts. Custom work and content are handed over after final payment, subject to third-party licenses.
Training covers the included content types and everyday tasks. A written guide documents access, publishing and who is responsible for maintenance.
Preserve a backup and check included redirects, inquiry delivery, existing payment destinations, responsive layouts and keyboard access before cutover.
Thirty days of launch-defect corrections and handoff questions are included. Ongoing maintenance, new features and content services are separately agreed.
Accessibility work targets WCAG 2.2 AA for the delivered templates and included forms, with documented checks and known exceptions. This is not a claim of current certification or an independent audit. Portal delivery also includes role-access checks, protected-resource tests and a password-reset rehearsal. Sensitive trainee documents are not collected in the proposed member portal.
08LET’S MAKE THE NEXT STEP CLEAR
The people, the relationships and the work are already there. Let’s give them a digital experience that makes it easier to join, connect and participate.
