Your five-week commitment
RBCA CDC’s Second Chance program serves returning citizens preparing for construction careers. Training is free to participants and runs Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Meet hiring partners, visit a jobsite, complete retesting where needed, then celebrate graduation and receive the completion stipend.

Before your first day
Bring the documents needed for enrollment, credentials and employment processing. Ask the CDC team for help obtaining missing documents.
Plan for the full weekday schedule. Discuss your readiness and support needs with the program team.
What participants receive
OSHA 30 and NCCER Core construction training.
A PPE kit with hard hat, vest, safety glasses, gloves and steel-toe boots.
Career-placement assistance, graduation recognition and a stipend after successful completion.
Program information is published by RBCA CDC. Confirm the next cohort, eligibility and current arrangements with its team.
